Here is the best Polish city at City-Break. “Forget about Warsaw and Krakow”

Poland is not only Warsaw and Krakow. A foreign tourist showed which city in our country is worth visiting.
For years, the British have proven that Poland is one of their favorite directions. Although they usually choose Krakow for their travels, the interest in City-Breaks in other cities is slowly visible on the market. Tamara Hinson, a journalist of The Independent, and privately a travel lover, in one of the last articles she praised the boat, which she called “Polish Manchester”. Although she visited Gdańsk, Poznań, Warsaw and Krakow, she particularly liked the Łódź.
Foreign tourists will love Łódź
Łódź has never enjoyed such good fame as Krakow, Warsaw and Wrocław. Fortunately, in recent years, the perception of the capital of the Łódź Voivodeship by tourists is slowly beginning to change. Gray concrete blocks and sad yards? As Tamara Hinson from The Independent argues, Łódź also has the other side. A traveler who had previously visited several other Polish cities, considered to be definitely more tourist, heard from a taxi driver that Łódź would definitely be a different experience.
Although there is no classic old city here and a clearly marked center, the Polish city does not overwhelm at all. It is also easy to reach it. Although currently only Ryanair offers direct flights from Great Britain to Łódź, in just an hour you can get here by train with a much better connected air. Hinson, however, counts on the fact that such places as Łódź will remain away from mass tourism routes.
Such attractions are worth visiting
What monuments do the British journalist recommend? The list of the most important attractions of Łódź could not miss the Manufaktura, and even Starbucks located there, recognized by the traveler as one of the most beautiful network cafes in the world. The recommendations outside Piotrkowska Street also included the Palace of Israel Poznański, called “Little Louvre”. However, Łódź is more associated with Manchester by the British than a French attraction – all thanks to the post -industrial character of the city. The former “Industry Temples” today are public facilities such as restaurants, museums and art galleries.
