Help in the search for a Polish paraglider. It is possible even from home
On March 1, a Polish doctor and paraglider Witold Gilarski disappeared. Anyone, as evidenced by his colleagues from the Polish Paragliding Association, can be found in the search.
Witold Gilarski was missing on the penultimate day of the paragliding competitions held in Colombia. A doctor from Jarosław landed safely, which he managed to inform his loved ones. However, the connection broke after 20 seconds and since then there is no contact with the Pole.

– Dad managed to convey that he landed safely, that he was all, he was going along the stream, unfortunately he did not manage to send his location – said Polsat News daughter of athlete Aleksander Gilarska in an interview with “Events”.
Mr. Witold’s family and friends are worried about his fate, but also point out that he is a hunter and has a good orientation in the field. Although he disappeared in the jungle, they do not lose hope of finding him. – He will survive. I appeal to the seekers to believe as much as he, because if they believe as he will, they will definitely find him – said the brother of the missing Marek Gilarski.
Searching for a Polish paraglider in Colombia
Colombian services are involved in the search campaign. The case is also monitored by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. – Our consul in Bogota is in constant contact with the army and the police, which searches the surrounding mountains – assured the spokesman of the ministry Paweł Wroński.
A collection is underway on the network for continuing the search. – We will press every night so that this search does not end – assured the paraglider’s daughter. Pole’s relatives are still waiting for the actions of the mobile network operator, which would give the location of the last telephone connection of the Pole. Without this information, the search area can cover up to 600 square kilometers.
