Health business innovations. The most important event for health market leaders in Poland

Already on June 5, Katowice will become a health innovation center – during the fourth edition of the Health Business Innovations (HBI) conference, leaders, experts and innovators from all over Poland will meet. The event is addressed to owners and managers of companies, hospitals and organizations operating in the healthcare sector. The motto of this year’s edition is: inspiration, networking and innovations.

Health Business Innovations – four key thematic blocks

The HBI 2025 program is a review of the most important trends and challenges facing the health market. The center of attention will include business cooperation with hospitals and health care units – the largest recipients of medical solutions. Equipment and medical devices will also be an important block in the context of technological innovation and certification challenges. E-health and AI are the topic of daily applications of applications, software and systems supporting medical processes. A separate module will be devoted to biotechnology and biomedicine – dynamically developing areas associated with biological drugs, targeted therapies, precision medicine and pharmacogenomics.

Health Startup Contest – a competition that discovers the future

The first edition of this year’s edition will be the first edition of “Health Startup Contest” – a competition for innovative startups operating on the health market.

– This is a unique opportunity to see how young technology companies interpret the needs of the health market – often based on research results, inventions or original trend observations – indicate representatives of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, HBI organizers.

During this special block, five selected startups will present their innovative ideas.

– We encourage people with an idea for a startup and creators developing young technology companies to apply for our competition – we accept applications until May 28, 2025. The final will take place on June 5 in Katowice during HBI vol. 4. – HBI organizers encourage.

Speakers Health Business Innovations – who shapes the health market?

Among the speakers and jurors Health Business Innovations vol. 4 and Health Startup Contest are outstanding representatives of the world of medicine, innovation and investment. Among them, among others prof. Michał Zembala – a member of the board of Yoshi Innovation SA and Vice -Rector for Clinical for KUL (chairman of the HSC Jury), Dariusz Madera, General Director of the University Clinical Hospital in Opole, Arkadiusz Grądkowski, President of the Polish Chamber of Medical Devices Polmed, prof. Zbigniew Nawrat, creative director of the Foundation for the Development of Cardiac Surgery and investment leaders such as Tomasz Chwiałkowski (Aegis Capital & Aligo VC) and Aleksander Kłósek (Youunick Mint). Among the experts will also include representatives of public institutions, startups, VC funds and academic environments, including Dr Tomasz Maciejewski (Institute of Mother and Child, Łukasz Jankowski (Supreme Medical Council), Michał Dybowski (Polish Federation of Hospital) Marek Tomków (Supreme Aphonx Chamber) and Andrzej Sokołowski (National Association of Private Hospital).
