He was destroyed, he recently returned to “work”. Someone threw an ax into the famous speed camera

One of the most “busy” speed cameras in Poland returned to the place. However, after less than 24 hours it was destroyed.
A traffic monitoring camera, detecting traffic offenses in the form of speed exceeding – with yellow -well -known drivers – was active for only one day at Warsaw’s Ursus (on Aleje Jerozolimskie). Earlier, the speed camera remained inactive because it was destroyed.
And this time someone decided to spoil the device – using an ax. The Warsaw report published a photo of a speed camera in a deplorable condition on the platform x.

Recently, because last Thursday the editors of the portal reported that the speed camera hated by drivers returned to “work”. However, on the night of April 18-19, the perpetrator destroyed the device with an ax.
A camera recording speeds was originally set to al. Jerozolimskie in November last year. At the beginning of February, however, the speed camera “gave up the ghost”, but not by itself – a vandal led to a failure, which was not yet caught.
The reportwarszawski.pl website contacted the spokesperson of the Chief Road Transport Inspectorate, which confirmed the damage to the speed camera. As it turns out, it worked about 10 hours. – Our employees are just dismantling the equipment. The case was reported to the police. Now they will deal with a speed camera. Then we will pass it on to the insurer. Finally, we will fix it again – says Wojciech Król.
Repair cost? Ok 50 thousand PLN
What next? If the perpetrator is determined, he will cover the cost of repairing the device, which was estimated at approx. PLN 50,000. Otherwise, pay the insurer for the restoration of a speed camera to restore the speed camera.
– It will be repaired for the second time and of course sooner or later he will return to al. Jerusalem – announces the spokesman of the Gitd. However, before this happens, the inspectorate – in cooperation with the Warsaw City Roads Authority – will consider the issue of installation near the city monitoring camera.
Why is the speed camera called the “record holder”? Due to the eloquent statistics – in December he registered a trifle eight thousand offenses (in the place where it is located, there is a limit to 50 kilometers per hour).
