“He is a man!” Protection reacted after the protest at women’s competitions
During the women’s Tournament in Dart in Blackpool, a transgender player was protested. Dutch Noa-Lynn Van Leuven has been meeting hate and threats for a long time.
The tournament described here took place on Sunday, July 27 in Blackpool. Women’s World Matchplay was broadcast on television, and the protest took place before the quarter-finals between Noi-Lynn van Leuven and Lorraine Winstanley.
A row at women’s darta competitions
A group of three women with banners began to loudly express their opposition to the transgender player. One of them had a T -shirt with the inscription “Let’s protect women’s sport”, the other kept a banner with the slogan: “He is a man.” The third recorded everything. When the first items flew towards the stage, security reacted.
“We didn’t say anything when we were attacked. For a few seconds I was holding a plaque with the inscription” It’s a man “. Noa-Lynn van Leuven is still a man,” Jean Hatchet, one of the protesters, wrote in social media.
The woman also complained that she was thrown away and she was not able to leave the premises herself. She showed bruises to Internet users and argued that her integrity was violated.
The PDC organization responsible for the tournament does not intend to change its opinion. CEO of Matt Porter emphasized that the policy of allowing transgender players to competition is fair. He added that Noa-Lynn Van Leuven has the right to participate in the Women’s World Matchplay tournament.

For the aforementioned player, hate and threats are nothing new. Transit has passed at the age of 17 and has been still meeting with unfavorable reactions since then.
