How does the tax office recover arrears?
The obligation to pay an RTV license applies to persons and entities that own receivers enabling the reception of public programs. Once your equipment is registered, fees must be paid monthly.
If the owner of the receiver does not pay the amount due, Poczta Polska sends a payment request. If the request remains unanswered, an enforcement order is issued and the case goes to the tax office, which conducts enforcement.
The tax office can recover receivables in several ways. Funds can be withdrawn from a bank account, tax overpayment, remuneration or pension. In some cases, enforcement is also carried out with the participation of a bailiff.

Companies often have many radio and television sets, and the fee applies not only to television sets, but also to radios, including those installed in company cars. When fees go unpaid for a long time, arrears can become very high.
