A 2.5-year-old boy from Poland was among the people who were hospitalized. Mayor Robert Benedek Sallai said that the child could not describe their symptoms, which is why the medics decided to transport him to the medical facility. Luckily, it was without major injuries and nobody seriously suffered.

A press spokesman for local services explained the whole event by accidental mixing of two chemicals, which are usually used to purify water in local pools. As a result of the reaction, toxic chloror gas was to be separated, which quickly spread at the swimming pool.

A mobile laboratory unit of the Hungarian fire brigade was sent to the action. On the spot, it conducted continuous measurements of the concentration of gauze and ultimately thermal thermal and the neighboring campsite returned to normal functioning on Wednesday, July 30.
