The match ended with a score of 1:1 in the second set, but the problems actually started in the opening set, when the Czech was leading, among others. 5:2.

What exactly happened to Vondrousova? Apparently we are talking about a groin injury, as the tennis player reported a problem in this area of ​​her left leg. It seems that such problems may ruin the Czech’s participation in AO 2025.

Vondrousova is extremely unlucky in terms of her health. It looks like the Czech may face another break. And the memories of the memorable, sensational Wimbledon win (2023) are becoming more and more distant from where the 25-year-old player is currently in her career.
