Grease in the ruling coalition. Hołownia is preparing volt
The flagship idea of Poland 2050 did not obtain the acceptance of Donald Tusk. The prime minister’s position may mean further grinds in the ruling coalition.
On July 9, the Sejm amended the law that increases the limit of state budget expenditure on social construction. The decision of MPs means the end of buying municipal apartments at preferential prices. In addition, by 2030, up to 75,000 municipal vacancy can be restored to use.
One of the amendments aroused a lot of controversy, which concerned the institutional access to ownership by SIM (social housing initiatives). The idea was supported by PiS and the Confederation and Poland 2050. The attitude of one of the coalition partners gave the Sejm majority.
Hołownia project without Tusk’s support
As reported by “Puls Biznesu”, Szymon Hołownia’s party can again vote side by side with the opposition. This time it’s about deregulation. After a long battle, a number of proposals facilitating life for entrepreneurs prepared by Poland 2050 went to parliamentary committees. Work on the project dragged significantly. – The work is slowly going to be slowly because the Ministry of Finance resists – explained Ryszard Petru.
The reason for delays may be one more – the Sejm deregulation committee received a negative position of the government under which Donald Tusk signed. The prime minister emphasized, among others that in the initiative of Poland 2050 some demands that appeared in government projects were repeated. Part of the proposal is associated in the opinion of the head of the government with too much burden on the state budget and others assessed as incorrect.
Poland 2050 will vote with PiS and the Confederation?
Ryszard Petru admitted that The project of the Szymon Hołownia party can count on the support of Law and Justice and the Confederation. – There is a civic coalition against. We do not want to vote with the opposition against our coalition partner. However, if we are forced to do so, this will happen. However, we still count on an agreement with the government – announced the MP.
