For several weeks, drone users on the Gulf of Gdańsk report that the devices at some point cease to react and fly away in different directions. Such incidents were recorded, among others on the Hel Peninsula.
– For several days we have received very disturbing signals from our friends from the industry or people who watched us that their drones were completely lost. The moment we flew a little higher, he lost contact with the satellites. There was a message that there is no GPS -based positioning. However, the drone itself was still fully controlled. You just had to fight a little more with the wind and try to maintain his position – said Wojtek Radwański, photographer and co -creator of the “Baltic” profile on Instagram.
– The Polish Air Navigation Agency in connection with the GNSS signal disruptions in the north of Poland has published information about the geographical zone for drone users determining the area of this phenomenon – said RMF FM Marcin Hadaj, PSP spokesperson.
According to unofficial findings, GPS signal disruption may come from the Russian Królewiec region.
