Good news for Poles. We will travel to this country without a visa
Next year, Polish tourists will also enter China without a visa. The applicable regulations have been extended.
China extends the applicable regulations regarding Poles until the end of 2026. The right to 30-day visa-free entry into the territory of the People’s Republic of Poland, which was to expire in January, will be maintained for the next twelve months. The facilities apply not only to tourists from Poland, but also to citizens of dozens of other European countries – including: France, Germany and Italy.
Entry to China without a visa in 2026
On Monday, November 3, during a press conference of the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mao Ning, a declaration was made regarding the extension of the regulations allowing citizens of 45 countries around the world to have a visa-free, 30-day entry to China. Originally, they were to remain in force until December 31, 2025, but the authorities of the Middle Kingdom decided to continue the tourist-friendly policy also in 2026. According to the latest data from the China National Immigration Administration, it is bringing the expected results. “In the third quarter of 2025 alone, 7.25 million foreigners entered the country visa-free, which is an increase of 48.3 percent compared to the same period last year,” we read.
Important information for tourists
Information regarding next year’s travels has not yet been updated by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, on the website of the Polish institution you will find important instructions on crossing the Chinese border only on the basis of a passport.
Although a single stay without a visa cannot exceed 30 days, Poles can use this facility many times a year. “Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of visa-free entries and the total number of days of stay,” we read. They can also enter the territory of the People’s Republic of China from any country, not only Poland.
Visa-free travel, which is valid in all sea, land and airport ports, applies only to holders of ordinary passports – people who have obtained a temporary passport do not meet the requirements.
