The Trump family has just announced the start of a new project – Trump Mobile, mobile telephony services with a smartphone offer for $ 499, signed with the name of the current president. The announcement was on Monday during a press conference at Trump Tower in Manhattan – informs the website forhandlu.pl, citing the Reuters agency.

-It will be a whole package of services-Telemedycyna, roadside assistance, unlimited SMSs to 100 countries. Everything in one monthly fee – said Donald Trump Jr. during the presentation.

The new brand will act as MVNO, i.e. a virtual operator using Verizon, AT & T and T-Mobile infrastructure. The heart of the offer is to be the golden smartphone “Made in USA” – a patriotic nod to Trump’s voters.

The device will cost $ 499, i.e. less than most flagship Apple or Samsung models. However, the subscription price will be $ 47.45. It is to symbolize the fact that Trump was the 45th president of the USA and is currently the office as 47.

Trump mobile without details

The official announcement regarding Trump Mobile, however, lacks specific information about technological partners, and Trump itself admits that it does not deal with the design, production of the phone or the provision of telecommunications services. The Trump brand was used exclusively on a license – as in the case of other commercial products and services branded with the name of the former president. The industry experts remain skeptical and, however, express doubts whether it is really possible to produce a modern phone at this price in the US, taking into account the lack of adequate facilities.

Paolo Pescatore from PP Foresight notes that details of cooperation with operators and the business model model will be of key importance. In turn, Michael Ashley Schulman from Running Point Capital Advisors emphasizes that the MVNO market in the USA is demanding, and if Trump Mobile does not achieve the threshold of a million users – which would be a record result for a celebrity project – its financial impact will be negligible.

Trump’s business on the wave: telephones, cryptocurrencies and millions

The debut of Trump Mobile coincided with the disclosure of Donald Trump’s financial data, which shows that only in 2024 he earned over $ 600 million from license agreements, cryptocurrency projects and the activities of golf clubs. After taking over the second presidential term, the Trump family continues the name of the name, drawing hundreds of millions of dollars from business ventures.
