Get ready for crowds by the sea. The reservations are still coming here

A stay at the sea is associated with summer and holiday aura. Although until July or August, Poles want to use free days there. An interesting trend was noticed.
Easter and picnic ahead of us, and there is more and more reservations at the Polish sea. Does this mean that this year we will choose this part of Poland? Although many people will probably go abroad or to the mountains, crowds can be expected on the Baltic Sea.
Poles will go to the sea in crowds
Reporters of Radio ZET checked what the situation in hotels or guesthouses at the Polish seaside looks like at the moment. They shared their feelings and conclusions with them, among others Local authorities in Pomerania and Western Pomerania or partners of the Sopot Tourist Organization. They declared that they were noting the occupation of 60-80 percent. for the holidays and over 80 percent for a picnic. Almost 100 percent Places have already been exhausted in such a facility as Radisson Blu, which was mentioned by Izabela Heidrich, director of the office of the Mayor of Sopot.
Hoteliers are prepared for more visitors than last year, and this means that the season can be really hot. Sopot and Kołobrzeg enjoy a particularly great interest among tourists. “Hoteliers are convinced that both the holidays and the picnic will be as good as in 2024. The reservations are successively flowing, the trend, which is waiting until the last moment,” – commented Izabela Heidrich, director of the office of the Mayor of Sopot.
“We expect that this year the turnout will be equally high, if not higher – Kołobrzeg consistently strengthens its position as an ideal place for every season of the year,” says Michał Kujaczyński, spokesman for the city of Kołobrzeg.
The influx of tourists to the Baltic Sea. These are trends
As for the arrivals to the sea, important trends were noticed. Seaside cities in Poland are massively visited not only by Poles, but also people from abroad. Frequent guests are Germany, Czechs and citizens of other countries. “Of course, there are most Poles, but we are also visited by many guests from Western Europe and Scandinavia. We expect more of the Czech tourists than in previous years, who have had a convenient railway connection of Prague -Gdynia’s relationship since last autumn.” – Tomasz Złotoś, spokesman for the city of Gdynia, explained to Radiozet.pl.
The second thing is that we once associated trips to the seaside mainly with holiday months, now it is clear that we want to travel there in spring there, and the picnic or Easter give a great opportunity. We appreciate the fact that in April and May we do not find crowds on the beaches. We also often count on lower prices in premises or hotels. Experts talk directly about the trend that shows that the Baltic Sea is already a year -round resort.
