German network with a record result on the Polish market. It was never so good

This result is an increase of PLN 2 billion compared to the previous year (PLN 15.9 billion). This is the first such situation in the 32-year history of the company’s activity on the Polish market. Thanks to this, Rossmann strengthened his position as a leader of the drugstore industry in Poland, and the number of customers visiting stationary stores reached 1.12 million a day.

164 new drugstores in 2024

In 2024, Rossmann took a huge step in the development of his network. Record 164 new facilities in various parts of Poland were opened. In addition, the network carried out almost 150 renovations and expansions of existing drugstores. New stores have appeared in both large cities and in smaller towns. An example would be investments in Mysiadło (Masovian Voivodeship), Wojtówka (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship) and Monsters (Łódź Voivodeship). In Łódź, where in December the 50th drugstore was opened in a new succession, the company also strengthened its presence. Thanks to these activities, Rossmann currently has 1925 facilities in Poland.

To Rossmann on foot and by bike

Rossmann does not intend to stop at successful success. The network has an ambitious plan to provide every Pole to easily access their drugstore. The company wants Rossmann to be present not only in shopping malls and parks, but also in housing estates, in smaller towns and in places where it is easy to reach on foot, bike or car. Thanks to such a strategy, Rossmann plans even greater development in Poland.

Rossmann in Poland. History

The first store of this German chain was opened in Poland exactly on May 23, 1993. The premiere of the drugstore became the one at ul. Piotrkowska, in the heart of the city. The Polish headquarters (open in February 2012) and the main magazine are also in Łódź. In February 2012, a distribution center in Grudziadz was also opened, while in October 2014 the Distribution Center in Pyskowice.
