Airports or railway stations have already received various guests. They were not always welcome and invited and it happened that they came unexpectedly like a “bear” koala at the Sydney station. This time tourists in Japan were surprised, all because of the Black Bear. He was walking along the runway, so the flights had to be suspended.
The bear was running at the airport
The unusual situation occurred on Thursday, June 26 at the Japanese port of Yamagata. It was there that a bear running in a place from which planes usually start. It became certain that travel would have to be canceled until the problem is solved. The information provided by the AFP agency shows that the port employees tried to drive away the animal, but to no avail – in the morning he disappeared for a moment, but in the afternoon he returned again.
At least a dozen flights were canceled by an unruly individual at the airport. “Considering the current situation, it is not possible for us to accept planes now,” commented the representative of the Yamagata Akira Nagai airport on the day of the incident.

Ultimately, after many attempts, the animal was driven away. The airport called specialists who set a trap. The police surrounding the area prevented the bear from escaping.
This type of phenomenon raises more and more fears among the Japanese. In their country, bear meetings with man often meet, and many of them do not end well. For example, over 200 attacks have occurred in the last 12 months, in which six people were killed.
According to scientists, all this through the climate crisis – bears earlier wake up from sleep and are looking for food. The second reason is to depopulate some urban areas in which animals find their refuge, and at the same time have easier access to civilization.
