Fuel prices are getting higher. There, diesel exceeded the barrier of PLN 9/l

PLN 7.31 per liter – this is what drivers paid for diesel oil on August 31, i.e. on the last day of the Lower Fuel Prices (CPN) package. Shortly after its abolition, drivers had to face a problem – Fuel Prices Higher. Back 23 percent VAT rates on fuels (the package assumed a reduction to 8%) immediately translated into an increase in prices at gas stations. Diesel owners found themselves in a particularly difficult situation. Refueling diesel fuel in Poland has never been so expensive, and each week brings new records.

– The increasing tension in the Middle East is a huge challenge for drivers who continue to face increasingly higher refueling costs. In some Polish regions, the average price of diesel oil has already exceeded the psychological limit of PLN 9 – e-petrol.pl experts warn.

The results of the latest station survey, conducted by e-petrol.pl in the second half of September, present a gloomy picture of the retail fuel market, where prices are still rising. Since last week, only the average nationwide price of E10 gasoline has remained stable and is still PLN 7.99/l. Diesel oil has gone up in price by 10 cents and the average price for a liter of fuel is PLN 8.99. The barrier of PLN 9/l was exceeded in the province. West Pomerania (diesel is the most expensive there – a liter costs PLN 9.03), as well as Lower Silesia and the Lublin region (PLN 9.01/l).

The popular “95” is the most expensive in Lower Silesia, Lesser Poland and the Opole and West Pomeranian Voivodeships. The price there is PLN 7.98 per liter.

Where is fuel in Poland currently the cheapest? When it comes to gasoline, the lowest prices are in the province. Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, where the price per liter is PLN 7.94. Diesel with a price of PLN 8.96/l is the cheapest in Kujawy and Pomerania.
