Fuel prices after the holidays. A cold shower is waiting for drivers?

Jazda samochodem jesienią

A fairly successful vacation for refueling ends. What prices can you expect after September 1? Drivers will certainly not like one thing.

The end of the end of the holidays was quite successful for drivers who refuel at relatively low prices. Analysts E-Tetrol.pl Gabriela Kazan and Grzegorz Maziak point out that the end of August brought slight changes in the wholesale market in the price lists of producers.

Nredi -free gasoline 95 in refineries (Orlen, Aramco Poland) currently costs an average of 4471.80 PLN/cubic. And despite the fluctuations during the week, it remains practically unchanged against last Friday (a decrease in a symbolic 0.03 percent, i.e. PLN 1.24). The diesel rose more clearly – its price increased by 1.40 percent, which gives an increase by PLN 56.60 on the cubic meter to PLN 4,627.80 – Experts calculate.

How much will we pay for fuel at the beginning of September?

There were no increases at gas stations. In recent days, the largest discount concerned diesel oil, which made 4 grosze and costs an average of 5.89 PLN/l. The price of the popular “95” has lowered by 3 grosze and drivers pay fuel for this average 5.74 PLN/l. The price of autogas has not changed, which in the past week cost on average PLN 2.59 per liter of LPG.

The end of this year’s vacation is more favorable for drivers than their beginning – since the beginning of July, refueling has become cheaper, in the case of popular 95 gasoline by 21 grosze, diesel by 16 grosze, and LPG by 19 groszy per liter. The comparison with the last season looks even better. In August 2024, refueling was much more expensive: an average of 53 grosze was paid for gasoline, for a diesel oil by 40 groszy more, and for autogas 22 grosze more per liter – They emphasize Kazan and Maziak.

What can drivers expect at stations in the first days of September? According to experts, the beginning of a new month should bring price stabilization. Analysts forecast that the average fuel prices in Poland will be as follows:

  • PB98 gasoline – 6.46–6.58 PLN/l,

  • gasoline PB95 – 5.72–5.83 PLN/l,

  • diesel – 5.85-5.96 PLN/l,

  • Autogaz (LPG) – 2.55–2.62 PLN/l.

End of promotion

However, e-petrol.pl experts point out that at the end of August holiday price promotions will expire for participants of loyalty programs, which in practice may mean that the real expenditure of drivers for fuel will increase.
