Another airport in Poland will allow you to take more liquids in hand luggage. In Poznań, security control will run more efficiently.
On September 3, the airport in Krakow said goodbye to the liquid limit, which means that passengers can hide liquids, aerosols and gels with a capacity of up to 2 liters (art) in hand luggage. On Tuesday, September 9, another airport in Poland joined him.
The Poznań airport endures a fluid limit
Fly4free.pl was the first to announce that from Tuesday the current 100 ml liquid limit in one container in hand luggage It will also be lifted at the Poznań-Ławica airport. This means that containers with fluids with a capacity of up to 2 liters – bottles of water, cosmetics in larger containers, etc. will pass through the safety control.
On the old principles, passengers of the morning cruises from Ławica were to undergo control. The airport officially announced the change around 9 am.
“New scanners are properly marked, so please pay attention to the marking of the security control zone,” reads the Fanpage of the Poznań airport on Facebook. “Congratulations to Krakow Airport, which also uses this technology – together we attach to the group of airports with the latest security control in the world” – he added.
Cosmetics and electronics stay in luggage
The abolition of the liquid limit is the next stage after installation at modern CT scanners (computed tomography, which creates a three -dimensional luggage image). From April, travelers flying from Poznań do not have to remove electronic devices (e.g. laptops) or liquids from the luggage of electronic devices. Now they can take more to luggage.
Similar facilities are already in force at many European airports – recently, among others in Birmingham and Edinburgh. This means that passengers can hide perfumes, shampoos in large containers, a bottle of mineral water or larger souvenirs in luggage.
