Samolot Air Arabia w Maroko

Ryanair lines “settled” at Chopin Airport, while the airport in Modlin is waiting for the opening of a new route in December. There are plans for more, and all this due to the line outside the European Union.

Fly4free informs about plans to launch new routes from Poland. We barely found out about the new connection of the Air Arabia line that will launch Modlin-Szardża connections in December this yearthe carrier’s representative revealed further ambitious plans.

New routes from Modlin. We can go there next year

“It’s about connections to Morocco and Egypt, which we are trying to start,” said Krzysztof Steiman, Commercial Manager of the Air Arabia line on Poland. He did not give specific directions, but tourists waiting for the opening of the Great Egyptian Museum or traveling around North Africa on their own are certainly rubbing their hands.

Krzysztof Steinman added that the launch of connections to Shardza from Modlin is a consequence of the lack of free slots at the crowded, capital airport.

“There are simply no free slots at Chopin Airport. Maybe we would get them for the winter, but rather certainly not in the summer season, and we are only interested in all -year connection. In addition, we are interested in slots at specific hours to be able to provide passengers with the possibility of comfortable transfers – morning cruises support primarily Indian subcontinent, evening Asia (…)” – he added.

Ryanair opens the routes from Chopin Airport

New routes are a chance to rebuild traffic in the port of Modlin, after a few months of falls. On Wednesday, June 25, Ryanair lines, which cannot communicate with its management, officially announced the next stage of development at the Warsaw-Chopin airport in the winter season ’25. The carrier will launch 6 new winter directions: Leeds, Porto, Pisa, Seville, Malaga and Tirana, as well as additional flights on popular routes such as Alicante, Brussels-Charleroi and Pafos.

Air Arabia will launch Modlin-Szardża flights on December 20, thanks to which tourists will reach the city in the United Arab Emirates in 6 hours. The same direction from the Chopin airport will remain in the carrier’s offer.

“This is the next step of the smaller, cheaper, calmer, simpler to use the Warsaw -Modlin airport. This is the first direction that we will implement with this line, but we are also talking about other directions,” said the Vice President of the Airport Board, Jacek Kowalski. “I think it is a pretty good proposition supplementing the offer from Chopin Airport,” he said. Planes will fly to Shardza from Warsaw every day.
