Price reductions in sanatoriums are coming. From October 1, stay in the spa will cost much less.

Autumn is the best time to stay in a spa. In a few weeks, the National Health Fund will lower the rates for stays in sanatoriums, which means a lot of savings for patients. Currently, depending on the room standard, the fee per night is from PLN 11.90 to PLN 40.90 per person. “From October these costs are from PLN 10.60 to PLN 32.60 per day,” writes the health market. In the colder months, guests can also count on shorter queues while waiting for the trip.

From October 1, sanatoriums will be cheaper

At the end of summer, prices will fall not only in resorts on the Baltic Sea. Sanatoriums all over Poland are also preparing for the introduction of new rates for the stay. Objects that have a signed contract with the National Health Fund will implement a new price list for accommodation from October 1. In the case of the lowest standard of a shared room, the fee will fall from PLN 11.90 to PLN 10.60 per person per night. More expensive, private guesthouses will save more – the daily rate will change from PLN 40.90 for PLN 32.60. In autumn, winter and early spring, patients in a full, 21-day stay can therefore save up to PLN 175 compared to the summer season.

Lower rates for seven months and faster trips

Poles can count on cheaper stays in sanatoriums until April 30, 2026. During the lower rates, the queues of waiting for the trip will also be shortened. The spas then have more free places, and patients no longer have to wait a dozen or so months to start the stay. There is also a chance for an almost immediate start of rest – due to the infections of many registered stay, he also gives up his trip, which allows others to use the so -called return. “By calling the NFZ branch in your province, you can learn about free places from returns and gain the opportunity to leave faster,” writes the health market.
