Free travels by train throughout the picnic. One ticket is enough

Picnic rail tickets do not have to be expensive at all. Although, due to high interest in journeys, travelers have little chance of getting promotional journeys in PKP, there are still other ways to reduce travel costs. The Koleje Dolnośląskie came out with an interesting initiative, which offer their clients an extension of the weekend ticket. As part of the offer, which costs only PLN 59, travelers will be able to travel without limit by trains of the carrier from April 30 to May 5.

59 zlotys for unlimited travel

This is the best time to discover the numerous attractions of Lower Silesia. From 18:00 April 30 to 6:00 May 5 travelers can take advantage of the weekend ticket entitling to unlimited travel by trains of the KD regional carrier. On a ticket, which costs only 59 zlotys (from the base price, no additional discounts are given) passengers can go from Wrocław, among others to Karpacz, Zielona Góra, Wałbrzych, Szklarska Poręba, Kudowa-Zdrój and Świeradów-Zdrój. The “Weekend ticket” can be purchased both at the carrier’s online store and the station’s ticket office.

“We are well aware that Majówka is one of the favorite moments for short trips. That is why we extend the validity of the Lower Silesian weekend ticket until Monday morning, so that everyone has a chance to fully take advantage of this unique offer,” says Damian Stawikowski, president of Lower Silesian Railways.

Lower Silesian Railways abroad

Polish spas and mountain resorts are not everything that awaits tourists. As part of the KD weekend offer, passengers will be able to go abroad. Thanks to the cooperation of the Polish carrier with Railways České Dráhy and Deutsche Bahn, travelers will go to Forst and Görlitz in Germany, as well as to Harrachov, Královca, Lichkova and Meziměstí in the Czech Republic.
