In 2021, the then government introduced a special addition to pensions. So -called Fourteen is an additional benefit for seniors. It is paid in full and may not be less than the amount of the lowest pension in a given year.

14. Retirement. This is the benefit in 2025

To receive 14. Seniors do not have to submit any additional applications. The benefit affects their ex officio accounts together with the September transfers from ZUS. At the end of September, fourteen will also go to people who receive pre -retirement benefit and pre -retirement benefit.

In 2025, the output amount of fourteen was PLN 1878.91 gross, which is the same as the current amount of the minimum pension. Compared to last year, it is an increase of nearly PLN 100.

In the case of those seniors who have a benefit of PLN 2,900 gross (or larger), the fourteen amount is reduced according to the zloty for PLN 1. However, those whose benefit would amount to me than PLN 50 gross cannot count on extra money from the state. This applies to those seniors whose monthly amount of ordinary pension exceeds PLN 4,728.91 gross.

According to the latest data, compared to last year, in 2025 the number of people with whom ZUS paid fourteen decreased by almost 300 thousand. people. This is due to the fact that PLN 2,900 gross is stiffly recorded in the Act and does not take into account the valorisation of benefits. What’s more, this year the right to fourteen also lost those who received a widow’s pension, because this supplement is also included in the benefit limit.

At the moment, it is not known whether the government will decide on any changes in this regard.
