The activities of Totalizator Sportowy are above all many support dimensions. The promotion of physical activity among various age groups is certainly one of the priorities that the company puts in front of it in the context of business.

This is largely related to the Lotto Foundation Halina Konopacka. Through many cyclically organized programs, especially children and young people are involved, but Totalizator Sportowy does not forget about seniors. Importantly, these are actions that most often go beyond professional sports. At the same time, a branch of amateur sports and recreation is expanded, which allows you to additionally take care of your health and social integration of Polish women and Poles.

Cumulation of activity, sports holidays, active senior or departure ride

It is impossible to collect all programs, but it is worth looking at a few examples affecting different age groups. The LOTTO Foundation was elected as the national operator of the “Active Senior – dissemination of sport among people 55+”. The Ministry of Sport and Tourism allocated as much as PLN 16 million to this program. It is mainly about supporting open organizations of public events and sports and recreation classes intended for seniors. It is also a fight against social exclusion and taking care of improving the physical condition of seniors.

You can also combine pleasant and active – useful. This is how you can describe the “Departure Driving” campaign, which is the original program of the mentioned foundation derived from Totalizator Sportowy. What is the idea? Promoting physical activity and social involvement by enabling participants to join the action and travel kilometers on a bike, in favor of one of the organized organizations in the competition. You have an application, get on a bike and take up a challenge that can help your “beneficiary” achieve the best result.

“Cumulation of activity” is another of the interesting examples. The program was based on research that clearly marked the problem of low physical activity among young Poles. What has already happened under the “Cumulation of Activity” program? In each edition, free sports activities for children and youth in 50 groups throughout the country were organized or will be organized. Physical activity under the guidance of Olympians, world champions, European and Poland is also a huge attraction for young generations. When training with the master, it is worth finding out that sport can be great fun.

Another program that we took on wallpaper is “active holidays”. The goal is to support the organization of sports camps for children and youth. The program budget is up to PLN 25 million, the Lotto Foundation lectures as much as PLN 10 million from its own funds (plus the support of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism). Pulling children from computers, TVs or telephones, and in the changes to organize an interesting sports camp is only a seemingly fighting windmill. It turns out that the interest does not weaken, on the contrary, the next edition allows you to further move the sad reality that we found shortly after the end of the so -called complete closure, i.e. Covid-19 pandemic.

Support for the Children’s Health Center. Important program “School again”

Speaking of the social dimension of support, it is impossible not to refer to the cooperation of Totalizator Sportowy in a broader context, i.e. responding to the call of the needy. A great example is the “School again” program. A program whose goal was to eliminate the effects of natural disaster in educational infrastructure, i.e. schools, special school and educational centers, dormitories, boarding schools and community clubs. The program concerned southwestern Poland, affected by the flood and its effects, in the second half of 2024. Applicants could apply to the Lotto Foundation even for support of PLN 100,000.

Activities covering funding? Cleaning works, leveling the direct effects of flooding, execution of construction expertise, renovation and construction works, replacement of damaged equipment and equipment, or ordering and revitalization of the area. As you can see, the full range of needs in such difficult moments.
