Flying colossus tested in Poland. The Ministry of National Defense can buy up to six machines
In mid-August, Airbus A400M Atlas aircraft belonging to the British Air Force visited Air Force transport bases. It was an unusual visit because it was devoted to tests and trials that could open the way to purchasing a small number for the needs of the Air Force and the entire Armed Forces.
It is worth noting that two A400M Atlas (one from Spain and one from Germany) took part in the air part of the parade in Warsaw on the occasion of the Polish Army Day. A British example, during its visit to Poland, the A400M Atlas visited Powidz and Kraków. Both locations are the foundation of military transport aviation in the country: in Greater Poland there is a squadron equipped with six Lockheed Martin C-130E/H Hercules aircraft, and in Lesser Poland there is a squadron operating sixteen light Airbus C-295M aircraft. Considering the needs of the Armed Forces and nationwide tasks, this is definitely not enough. Especially when you take into account the fact that not all of them can perform tasks (simultaneously).
