Every tourist dreams of such a prize. Ryanair honored the passenger

Pasażerka z Hiszpanii wygrała rok darmowych lotów

Ryanair lines boasted the transport of the 200-million passenger this year. It was an 84-year-old from Spain, who received a unique award.

Ryanair lines on March 27 celebrated its 20th anniversary on the Polish market. In recent years, a cheap carrier has strengthened most of our regional airports, and has prepared a record number of connections for the summer. On this occasion, he also reminded of the launch of three new routes from Wrocław Airport.

200 million passengers per year. Award from Ryanair

There was one more reason to celebrate. This week, the lines took a double -host passenger in the season. It was 84-year-old Maria Cornelia Vos, who came from Fuerteventura to Madrid on Wednesday, March 26. In the Spanish capital, she landed at 12:35, and her two daughters, the Ryanair team and journalists invited to the conference were waiting for her. As soon as the senior was in the airport terminal, there was applause. The passenger learned that she won … a year of free flights.

Then she read the photos with an occasional board. It is only from her that we can learn about this extremely generous prize, because in the English and Polish version of the message about it was not mentioned.

Where will the passenger fly thanks to this pass? Surprised Mrs. Maria could not answer this question right away.

“200 million passengers in one calendar year is a new historical record for Ryanair. For the first time in history, any European airline transported 200 million passengers in just one year,” we read.

Sweet and bitter celebration. Cheap lines versus a fine in Spain

Ryanair currently operates in nearly 40 countries and has nearly 600 aircraft operating on various routes. Spain is the second most important market of the carrier, just behind Italy. Despite this, the company’s relations with politicians are quite tense in this country due to imposing a penalty on the line for downloading additional fees for hand luggage or paid selection of place from passengers.

In a statement published by the head of the line, once again there were bitter words at the Spanish minister of social affairs, consumption and agencies 2030, Pablo Bustinduya.

“Minister Bustindua apparently has no idea what consumers really want. As 200 million of our passengers show this year, consumers prefer low prices of the Ryanair line and accept our reasonable policy regarding the optional luggage,” said Michael O’Leary.

In an interview with “Wprost”, the boss of Ryanair warned that if the fine was maintained, it could increase the prices of air tickets in Spain.
