Even PLN 5636 for a senior. ZUS still accepts applications
In July, payments will start Wdowiej pension. ZUS gave the amount to the maximum of the seniors applying for the benefit.
At the beginning of January, the provisions regarding the widow’s pension came into force. It is a combination of a survivor’s pension with another benefit, e.g. with a pension or a disability pension. Until now, the widowed person had to decide whether to receive his pension or survivors from the deceased spouse (it was a maximum of 85 percent of the deceased’s benefit). As a result of changes, you can choose 100 percent for payment. survivors’ pensions and 15 percent own benefits, or 100 percent own benefits and 15 percent survivors’ pension.
How much will the widow will be?
Although applications regarding the widow’s pension can be submitted from January (they have been submitted so far over 300,000), the first payments are expected in July. How much will they take? Information on this matter was provided by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). – We will be able to pay the widow’s pension from July in the maximum amount of PLN 5,636.73 gross. Where does this amount come from? So much will be three times the minimum pension after indexation from March 1, 2025 – ZUS informed on Platform X.
If the sum of benefits in the intersection exceeds this amount, then the “zloty for PLN 1” mechanism will be used.
What conditions must be met?
