European technological sovereignty – the first edition of Phoenix-EVENT in Warsaw
Today, Europe’s technological independence is not only a matter of economy, but also of security. How to develop your own solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, IoT or space technologies? Experts will answer these questions on September 15 in Warsaw during the first edition of Phoenix-EVENT.
The event will kick off a series of annual conferences devoted to challenges related to technology and European sovereignty. This year’s edition will focus on building European technological independence, and one of its main topics will be the presentation of the results of the IPCEI-CIS/8ra project, an important part of which is the Phoenix-RTOS operating system, developed by the Polish deep-tech company Phoenix Systems SA.
The conference program includes expert discussions on, among others: the impact of government strategies on the European technology sector, the future of IoT and Edge-IoT technologies and the role of unmanned vehicles as a technology with both civilian and defense applications.
Representatives of public institutions and experts related to technology, security and the space sector were invited to participate in the conference. The talks will include, among others: representatives of the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Industrial Development Agency, the Cyberspace Defense Component Command, the Polish Space Agency and the Central IT Center.
Phoenix-EVENT is intended to be a place for discussion about the challenges facing European technology, but also for the presentation of ready-made solutions in the area of deep-tech. The organizers want to combine the perspectives of decision-makers, experts and industry representatives.
The media patronage of the event was provided by “Polska Zbrojna”, “MILMAG”, “Wprost”, “Puls Biznesu” and “Bankier.pl”.
