End of booking places on the beaches. Polish tourists will lose their things
The popular Croatian resort complains about the behavior of Polish tourists. It’s about booking places on the beach.
Tourists in Makarska, who will leave objects on the beach to book a place on the shoreline, can lose their things imperceptibly. The Croatian resort with access to the Adriatic is fed up with vacationers who treat the beach as their property. From now on, local authorities, using a cleaning company, intend to throw away found sunbeds and towels like waste. In “Turning places” on the beaches, mainly tourists from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Poland lead.
Makarska warns tourists
Denik.Cz warned Czech tourists against leaving objects on the beaches in Croatia. However, it is not about the situation in which we go to bathe, and on the sunbed there are our bags and clothes, but about “sticking” a place at the shore last evening. In this way, vacationers count on a convenient location, for example in the shade or right at the entrance to the sea. From now on, however, this behavior will be associated not only with a fine, which so far has not been scared of tourists. All items left on the beach will go straight from it to the garbage – so you will not be able to find them or recover them anymore.
Some tourists ignore recommendations
The warning that the city posted on social media met with understanding and words of support from Internet users. The expected positive changes were also quickly noticed, because there were actually less things left on the beaches. However, they did not disappear completely. “Most people treated our recommendations seriously, but there are still those who book places on the beach at night. We will remove abandoned towels and sunbeds as long as it is necessary,” remind representatives of the town hall.
