Łódź. Tragedy in Skierniewice. The electric car has ignited, the 73-year-old is dead
Such situations happen – during a fire of an electric car, firefighters are sometimes forced to use slightly different ways of reacting. During such action, up to 10-20 thousand liters of water is used to cool the batteries, preventing uncontrolled temperature rise. Sometimes they are immersed in special water containers (together with the whole car). Sometimes, the batteries again deal with fire even after a few hours of extinguishing. That is why you need to monitor the temperature later – for some time after mastering the situation.
