Kaufland develops electromobility infrastructure. Electric car charging stations have appeared at parking lots at the chain supermarkets.

– Kaufland Polska continues investing in modern electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Since the beginning of March, network customers have already accessed to almost 100 charging stations located in parking lots at supermarkets across the country – informs the network.

Kaufland invests in infrastructure

At the beginning of March, the network made available 97 charging stations in parking lots at its supermarkets throughout the country.

“They allow quick and convenient top -ups of vehicles during daily purchases. Depending on the location, customers can use both fixed (DC) charging up to 50 kW, as well as alternating current (AC) with a capacity of up to 43 kW. Thanks to this, users have the option of effective and comfortable supplementation of energy in their vehicles” – reads in the network message.

– Electromobility is the future, and Kaufland consistently supports modern and ecological solutions. We want to provide our clients with convenience during everyday purchases and facilitate the use of environmentally friendly transport, which is why we are constantly developing charging infrastructure – says Michał Maciejczak, director of the real estate management department at Kaufland Polska.

The network informs that the investment is the result of the implementation of the sustainable development strategy. He emphasizes that he constantly invests in solutions supporting sustainable development, seeking to minimize environmental impact.

“In the growing number of Kaufland locations, we offer our clients the ability to conveniently charge electric vehicles with electricity while shopping. In our fast charging stations of electric vehicles there are three commonly used types of plugins (type 2/AC 43 kW; CCS/DC 50 KW and Chademo/DC 50 kW)” – explains the network, emphasizing that its purpose is to make a significant contribution in providing a common contribution in The availability of this modern and environmentally friendly technology.
