Egyptian beaches within reach. This machine will revolutionize travel
The next holiday seasons in Egypt will bring big changes in the way we travel. All thanks to the purchase of a modern water glider.
Tourists flying to Egypt will no longer want to stay in just one resort. What’s more, during a week’s vacation they will easily see not only several tourist destinations on the Red Sea coast, but even go on a one-day trip to Jordan or Saudi Arabia. All thanks to the first large sea glider, which has just been purchased by the Egyptian company United Marine Egypt Shipping (UME). The modern machine will take passengers on board within three years at the earliest.
Sea gliders will change travel
Holidays in several countries during one holiday? Most likely, in 2027, tourists flying to Egypt will be able to use the transport of the future, thanks to which they will go on their dream trips and at the same time save time. The Egyptian carrier United Marine Egypt Shipping (UME) has signed an agreement to receive large Regent’s sea gliders, which will be able to accelerate to nearly 250 kilometers per hour, significantly shortening the length of travel, for example between Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. Machines called Monarch will also enable fast flights to Jordan, located on the other side of the Red Sea, and to the increasingly dynamically developing Saudi Arabia – from Mars Alam, beloved by Poles, to the Saudi island of Shebara in 40 minutes, and from Sharm el-Sheikh to the Jordanian Aqaba even in less than an hour.
“The signing of the agreement with UME shows the growing demand for sustainable, fast transport solutions. We are looking forward to working together to introduce our sea gliders to the coast of the Red Sea,” says Adam Triolo, vice-president of commercial business development at Regent Craft, quoted by Hurghada24.pl.
Tourists will be delighted
Although large Monarchs, which can accommodate up to one hundred passengers, will, according to preliminary forecasts, be available only in three years, UME will make it available to tourists to travel on board smaller machines next summer. Twelve Viceroy sea gliders were previously purchased from the same manufacturer, which, although they will be able to carry only 12 people, can accelerate up to 300 kilometers per hour.
