Egypt has opened a great attraction, now he will close it. Tourists have to wait

The loudest Egyptian attraction of recent years will close to visitors. All this to prepare for an official opening.
While everyone is waiting for the opening of the Great Egyptian Museum in Giza, the institution is preparing to … close. Before the solemn inauguration planned for July 3, additional preparations are necessary, as well as a series of organizational and logistics works. Thus, tourists will not be able to use some of the attractions provided to them for nearly a month – from June 15 to July 5.
Difficulties for tourists in Egypt
This is the last moment to go to the great Egyptian Museum in Giza partially made available to tourists. Already on June 15, the complex will be closed to prepare it for a real, official opening. This is planned for July 3, but even then “ordinary guests” will not be able to see the premiere exhibitions yet. All because of the celebrations planned by the Egyptian government with the participation of foreign heads of states and other representatives that are to take up to two days. “Tourists will enter the museum only on July 5,” writes Hurghada24.pl. “The invitations to the ceremony were received, among others, by US President Donald Trump, King of Norway Harald V, King of Denmark Fryderyk X, King of Spain Filip VI, President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini, Ireland President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins and most of the Middle East and African heads of countries,” we read. For now, the composition of the delegation from Poland is unknown
The Great Egyptian Museum is an attraction that was not there
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is an attraction that was waiting for over two decades. The idea to create, next to the famous pyramids in Giza, the museum, which will present the whole story of Egypt, appeared in 2003. The next stages of construction lasted for years, and the owners lifted the secret, opening the limited sections of the object for selected tour groups.
The Great Egyptian Museum is not only a place where you can see artifacts of ancient power. “This is not only a museum. This is a place where you can eat, shop or participate in various events. The inhabitants of Cairo can come here regularly, not only to watch monuments and artifacts,” said Amr El-Kada, president of the Egyptian tourist organization for “Wprost”.
