Dun & Bradstreet integrates D&B Commercial Graph with Perplexity, strengthening analysis and risk assessment processes
Two Dun & Bradstreet connectors, available from Perplexity Computer via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), provide access to continuously updated risk management data to support business analytics and research.
Dun & Bradstreet announces a partnership with Perplexity that makes D&B Commercial Graph™ available on Perplexity and on the Perplexity Computer agent platform via Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. This solution allows users to use verified data about companies in processes related to risk management, finance, compliance, purchasing and sales.
Based on the DU NS® Number, which is the basis for identifying companies in the world, D&B Commercial Graph™ coherently organizes and combines data about companies in various systems and applications, allowing artificial intelligence to work smoothly with accurate and verified data.
The partnership of both companies is a response to the growing disproportion between the pace of implementation of artificial intelligence in companies and the quality of the data itself. Dun & Bradstreet’s latest AI Momentum Survey of 10,000 companies from 32 countries found that more than three-quarters of companies are seeing a measurable return on their AI investments. At the same time, only 6 percent believes that their data is fully prepared to fully support artificial intelligence implementation processes.
Dun & Bradstreet and Perplexity help clients reduce disparities by integrating validated business data with the tools and processes used by enterprises around the world.
Verified Dun & Bradstreet data guarantees full transparency and the ability to quickly identify the sources of data. Additionally, companies can use Dun & Bradstreet’s risk analysis and decision-making model to build personalized KYC and KYB processes, shortening the time of the onboarding process of customers and business partners.
“The cooperation of Dun & Bradstreet and Perplexity allows companies to replace the time-consuming and manual onboarding procedure with one integrated process based on AI agents. This allows for the identification of customers in a matter of minutes, using automatic risk assessment while maintaining full documentation for audit purposes,” said Alex Zuck – General Manager of Dun & Bradstreet’s Risk Business.
The D&B Commercial Graph contains information about over 650 million companies from around the world. The reliability of the data is confirmed by over 100 billion monthly quality checks. Providing the solution in Perplexity will allow users to safely use data and analyzes collected in D&B Commercial Graph.
Also including:
-
Identification and verification of companies operating within complex ownership and control structures.
-
Risk analysis of cooperation with companies in global supply chains.
-
Monitoring the customer portfolio based on constantly updated company data.
-
Automatically generating documentation for audit purposes.
Comparison of the results with the average results achieved in the industry shows that the use of AI in KYC and KYB processes can significantly increase operational efficiency.
In particular:
-
up to 20 times greater efficiency of verification processes,
-
shortening service time by 70-96%,
-
reducing the number of false alerts by 50-90%,
-
up to 700 percent faster resolution of false alerts.
Additionally, the solution allows users to create dedicated processes supported by AI agents that use Dun & Bradstreet data, analyzes and processes in risk management, sales, finance, purchasing processes and compliance.
