Andrzej Duda, Robert Lewandowski or maybe Jakub Żulczyk? IMM has prepared an unusual ranking in which the captain of the Polish team decisively defeated the former president.

Although reading statistics in Poland have aroused mixed emotions for years, the latest data shows that books still have a strong position.

According to the report “The state of book reading in Poland in 2025”, as many as 41 percent people over 15 years of age have read at least one book. It is this group – almost half of society – that drives discussions about literature in the media today.

Which books received the most media attention in Poland?

The Media Monitoring Institute checked which titles penetrated the audience’s awareness the most. It turned out to be unrivaled “Null” by Szczepan Twardoch with an impressive result 49.4 million contacts with the message. This means that – statistically – almost every Pole has had contact with information about this book.

Right behind it was the biography “Lewandowski. The Real One” by Sebastian Staszewski (38.2 million)and the podium was closed by aautobiography “It’s me. Andrzej Duda” (26.7 million).

They were also among the top “The Candidate” by Jakub Żulczyk and “Sorry for the bad handwriting. Diaries of rural women” by Antonina Tosiek.

The analysis also clearly shows the division between traditional and social media. “Null” dominated the press, portals and television, building a prestigious image. In turn, social media was dominated by biographies and names – especially “Lewandowski. The real one” and “It’s me. “Andrzej Duda”which generated over 200,000. each interaction.

– We see market dualism: classic media build the prestige of literature, and social media drive emotions around biographies and personal brands – explains Lubieniecki.

However, the Internet was alive not only with rankings, but also with emotions. Żulczyk’s “Candidate”. it was described by readers as “unputdownable”, and its political references sparked heated discussions. In turn, the most polarized opinions appeared around Andrzej Duda’s book, often involving an assessment of the entire presidency.

It also aroused great interest biography of Robert Lewandowski. Internet users eagerly emphasized its authenticity, especially the fragments showing the more difficult moments of the footballer’s career. The discussion around it had a completely different tone “Diaries of rural women” – emotions, memories and personal stories of readers dominated here.

Against this background “Null” was distinguished by a calmer reception. Instead of stormy reactions, there were analyzes and reviews, which only confirmed Twardoch’s position as an author who appeals to a more demanding audience.
