Shocking reports from the District Court in Krakow. Judgments in the case of Magdalena L., Mariusz Z. and ten other accused have been issued.
I am talking about an organized criminal group that was associated with the Cracovia hooligans, a club appearing in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa football competition. Drug smuggling, extortion, beating or money laundering is just the tip of the mountain of the matter, which was and is again loud in Poland.
A criminal group related to the environment of Cracovia hooligans
We have already informed about the character of Magdalena L., previously known as Magdalena K. and the final judgment in Monday. The justice system determined that although the woman was to take part in the criminal activity of the group, she did not manage her. According to the Małopolska court, she was to perform the duties of Mariusz Z. – the previous leader of the gang (and at the same time her partner), who was detained in 2017.

The court fully shared the findings of the investigation into the existence and functioning of an organized criminal group engaged in smuggling and drug trafficking on a massive scale, beating, extortion and money laundering of great value. According to investigative findings, the criminal group brought to Poland and introduced on the market not less than 5,500 kg of marijuana with an estimated black market value of PLN 88,000,000 and cocaine in an amount of 120 kg with a black market value of approx. EUR 4.320,000. She also traded other drugs, such as amphetamine, mephedrone and MDMA. The income obtained mainly in luxurious movable property and real estate, including development activities.
The District Court in Krakow imposed on Mariusz Z., a penalty of 10 years imprisonment. Magdalena L. received a penalty of 3 years and 6 months imprisonment, Tomasz Z. 1 year and 6 months imprisonment, and Grzegorz M. (having the status of a crown witness in another proceeding) a 4 -year penalty imprisonment with a conditional suspension for a trial period of 5 years.
In addition, the other accused received a total of 1 year and 6 months to 6 years and 6 months imprisonment.
It should be emphasized that this is one of several still pending proceedings against members of this criminal group. At the stage of proceedings before the court of first instance, four more proceedings are pending, of which Mariusz Z. is accused of the Court of Appeal in Krakow, however, one proceeding is conducted, related to the thread of kidnapping and beating of Patryk P., i.e. a member of this group, who was the first to decide to cooperate with the authorities. In addition, the Lesser Poland Paw PK investigates against members of the criminal group associated with KS Cracovia hooligans, because further events are also examined with the participation of further established members of the criminal group.
