Yesterday evening, a drone flew over the Belvedere, which – as it turned out – was piloted by two people of foreign nationality. New, previously unknown information appeared in the case.
On Monday (September 15), officers from the State Protection Service “neutralized the drone”, which flew over the center of Warsaw – informed Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The services detained two people who were to pilot an unmanned aerial vehicle.
According to Radio Zet, a man and a woman “were to be questioned”. The editors of the station found that the case would be “thoroughly examined” and is considered “serious”. Journalists learned that the drone was first noticed by one of the representatives of SOP, and soon informed his superiors about everything. At that time, the decision was made to “neutralize”.
The suspects did not resist when arrested. Why did they operate UAV near the Beldwederski Palace? There is no answer to this question yet. “Their motives are not known,” says “Zetka”. Unofficial information shows that this type of drone that has been targeted is observation equipment.

As the representative of the Ministry of Marcin Kierwiński added, “detained” people who “controlled this drone” have already been detained. – The proceedings are currently being conducted, they have been questioned at night. We will see what the result of the whole of these procedures will be – he pointed out.
The Undersecretary of State admitted that SOP “worked very quickly.” “A drone appeared and was quickly neutralized, people were detained, the state worked,” he said.
On Tuesday (September 16), before noon, there was a press conference of Jacek Dobrzyński in Warsaw. The spokesman for the coordinator of the special services admitted that SOP officers “worked very vigilantly and quickly” and “detected people who were drone operators.” It turns out that the detainees are not two citizens of Belarus, but a 21-year-old from Ukraine and a 17-year-old from Belarus.
– This is a young Belarusian and her twenty -year -old colleague from Ukraine. These people were directly detained by officers of the State Protection Service. The police were notified, who also came to the place and took over these people – he said.
