Dramatic aviation accident. The pilot knew “he was too low”
An air accident occurred in Musików (in Podkarpackie). The State Air Accident Investigation Commission informed about it.
On Thursday evening there was a glider accident that fell to the meadow. Three fire brigades were called in.
“The pilot left the broken glider on his own and was handed over to the care of paramedics,” informs the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Rzeszów.

Rzeszów KW of the State Fire Service said that “the causes of the accident are not known.”
More details on the local website Stalowka.net. According to the editors, three technical rescue vehicles and road officers who arrived with two police cars appeared on the spot. An ambulance was also called with the Ratow team. medical, but their intervention was not necessary because “the pilot did not report any ailments.” What’s more – he left the deck of a small machine after the incident.

Stalowka.net, citing the initial findings of the services, says that a 37-year-old sat behind the controls of the gliders, who started from the runway (pushed by the winch) of the Aeroclub Aeroclub airport. He is a resident of Rzeszów. He was just a flight towards Zamość (i.e. he wanted to cover about 100-120 km). Returning to the starting site, he was “to say that he was too low and he would not reach the landing site,” writes a local website. Therefore, in the vicinity of the village, where the accident took place, he began to look for a meadow where he could securely settle.
When approaching landing, however, an unexpected incident occurred, the machine – the so -called “Pirate” – she caught one of the trees. The man lost his reign.
