Holistic approach to the client, comprehensive service, guarantee of quality and transparency of costs – these are the foundations on which the Deer Group was built.
Success usually has many fathers, but here one was replaced by one, but a completely unusual woman-Karolina Karwowska-Gajżewska. The founder of Deer Group began her professional activity as a cubature architect and urban planner, and today belongs to the most recognizable leaders in the interior design industry. She used many years of experience in the real estate sector and MBA knowledge to create a company that from scratch changes the way the interior design and finishing.
How did she do it? When she noticed that investors lacked control over the next stages of their apartments, she established Deer Design. At the time of the brand’s creation, the turnkey service existed, but she decided to improve it and provide customers with a two -year warranty and fast service. – The experience of many people was the feeling that they were losing control over the schedule and costs. That is why I focused on coordinating every stage of activities. Thanks to this, the company quickly gained the name of an expert who cares about each client’s affairs as its own investment-explains Karolina Karwowska-Gajżewska today. The new approach and effectiveness in developing business brought her many awards.
The effects of teamwork
The measure of success are hard numbers. Over eight years of existence, Deer Design has completed over 3,500 projects, finished nearly 270,000. sq m. interiors, and today it generates over PLN 71 million of net revenue a year. Every month, on average, 70 new customers decide to entrust this workshop of their apartment or house, which translates into almost 1000 orders a year. A team of 146 people employed in branches in Warsaw, Krakow and Gdańsk implements them with the highest commitment. – Interior experts analyze the client’s needs to respond to them with solutions in line with the latest trends. Architects are preparing detailed designs and photorealistic visualizations, thanks to which the customer sees the ready interior before the start of work. Coordinators are responsible for the schedule and supervision over delivery. Due to the transparency of costs, the investor knows exactly what he pays for, and receives it on agreed dates-explains Karolina Karwowska-Gajżewska.
Synergy – Development Way
The success with which her company met was prompted by Karolina Karwowska-Gajżewska to expand the offer by three consecutive, complementary brands, which today create a Deer Group together. First of all, Deer Design invariably perform “turnkey” standard and individual projects. Secondly, the Deer Wood carpentry workshop produces custom -made furniture – from the kitchen through wardrobes and chests of drawers to unusual finishes designed by Deer Design. In 2024, Deer Wood generated PLN 17 million net revenue. Thirdly, there is a DDB Design & Build brand, it was created for the needs of B2B customers. It works in a fit-out formula, creating interior of hotels, aparthoteli, offices and PRS facilities. Deehome, debuting in 2025, will provide clients with attractive designer furniture and lamps selected by architects.
Deer Group is constantly investing in development. He constantly expands the team, but also opens more showrooms and offices. The Warsaw headquarters of Deer Design, this year will take up a completely new space. Half of 1400 sq m. The surface will be filled with fully functional arrangements of kitchen, bathrooms and holiday zones, in the remainder a meeting zone with clients will be created and a comfortable place to work for designers, coordinators and managers. There is also a new 500-meter showroom in Krakow.
In good company
An important element of Deer Group development is cooperation with partners from the real estate industry. The most important are prestigious development companies, including Bouygues Immobilier Polska, Dantex, Develia, Ghelamco, Marvipol, Matexi, Robyg, Ronson, Skanska and Victoria Dom. Architects from DDB Design & Build design show flats, common zones and sales offices that increase the attractiveness of the investment and accelerate the sale of premises. In turn, in partnership with Eurovilla and EN Casa Deer Group agencies, he educates customer advisers in the adaptation of apartments or houses from the secondary market.
