The dollar is gaining, the euro and pound are up slightly, the franc is losing. Currency rates according to NBP quotations from November 19, 2025.
On the currency market, Wednesday brings a continuation of Tuesday’s recovery – three of the four main currencies are gaining again against the zloty. The dollar strengthened the most, maintaining its dominance from previous sessions. The euro and pound are also gaining, although at a slower pace. The only exception is the Swiss franc, which is the only currency to have recorded a decline today.
Analysis of the day – November 19, 2025
US dollar (USD) – strong rebound
Today’s USD rate is PLN 3.6656, which is PLN 0.0131 more than on Tuesday (PLN 3.6525). This is the biggest increase of the day – a moderate but noticeable move, indicating the continued advantage of the dollar on the market.
Euro (EUR) – stable strengthening
Today the euro costs PLN 4.2424, which means an increase of PLN 0.0093 compared to yesterday’s quotation (PLN 4.2331). The change is small, but the direction remains consistently upward.
Swiss franc (CHF) – clear downward correction
Today’s franc rate is PLN 4.5743, which is PLN 0.0122 less than on Tuesday (PLN 4.5865). This is a reversal of the symbolic increase from the previous day – CHF was the only one to weaken against the Polish zloty.
Pound sterling (GBP) – slight increase
The pound costs PLN 4.8116 today, which is PLN 0.0078 more than on Tuesday (PLN 4.8038). The British currency continues its quiet but visible strengthening.
