Today’s NBP exchange rates show small changes and a calm market situation. The American dollar slightly corrects recent increases and today loses against the zloty. Euro and Swiss franc remain at stable levels, confirming limited variability.

The pound of Szterling continues his declines, moving away from the barrier of PLN 5 and signaling the weakness of the British currency towards the zloty.

Currency market – day analysis

American dollar (USD) Today it costs PLN 3,6396, which means a slight decline compared to the Monday course of PLN 3.6475. This is a signal of a slight weakening of the dollar after a previous upward trend.

Euro (EUR) It maintains a stable level – the course of PLN 4.2538 is very similar to Monday (PLN 4.2614), which is confirmed by the lack of clear changes.

Frank Swiss (CHF) It also remains stable. The course of PLN 4,5732 is practically unchanged compared to yesterday’s level, which was PLN 4,5760.

Pound sterling (GBP) continues the declines. On Tuesday, we will pay PLN 4.8942 for one pound, which means further weakness for the Monday course.

Average exchange rates are provided by the NBP according to the following rules:

• Table A foreign currency courses is updated every business day, between 11:45 and 12:15,

• Table B of Medium Currency Courses is updated every Wednesday, between 11:45 and 12:15. If Wednesday is a day off from work, the update takes place the previous day,

• Table C Courses for the purchase and sale of foreign currencies and the Course table are updated every business day, between 7:45 and 8:15.
