Courses on August 22, 2025. How much dollar, euro, pound and frank?

Friday’s quotations of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) shows the definite increases in the main currencies. Frank Swiss shows the greatest strengthening, who clearly came to the lead, reaching the highest course this week. The dollar, euro and pound also grow towards the zloty, maintaining an upward trend and strengthening their position.

Currency market – day analysis (August 22, 2025)

American dollar (USD) Today it costs PLN 3,6786, which means an increase compared to Thursday (PLN 3.6483). The American currency has been moving in a moderate upward trend since the beginning of the week, and today’s session confirms the slight strengthening of the dollar against the zloty.

Euro (EUR) It is valued today at PLN 4.2670, i.e. above yesterday’s level of PLN 4.2521. The common currency gradually gains value, staying in a narrow range and showing a light upward trend this week.

Frank Swiss (CHF) It closes a week for PLN 4,5452, which means a slight increase compared to Thursday (PLN 4,5307). The Swiss currency has been systematically strengthened since the beginning of the week, reaching the highest exchange rate during this period.

Pound sterling (GBP) It is valued today at PLN 4.9341, i.e. above the Thursday exchange rate PLN 4.9123. The British currency regains some earlier declines, approaching the psychological limit of PLN 5 again.

Average exchange rates are provided by the NBP according to the following rules:

• Table A foreign currency courses is published every business day, between 11:45 and 12:15,

• Table B of Medium Currency Courses is updated every Wednesday, between 11:45 and 12:15. If Wednesday is a day off from work, the update takes place the previous day,

• Table C Courses for the purchase and sale of foreign currencies and the Course table are updated every business day, between 7:45 and 8:15.
