Courses on August 21, 2025. How much dollar, euro, pound and frank?

Thursday quotations of currency courses of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) show mixed changes. The zloty is slightly weakening the Swiss franc, while the remaining main currencies recorded slight declines. The most visible strengthening is demonstrated by Frank Swiss, who clearly came to the lead – it is definitely his day.

Currency market – day analysis (August 21, 2025)

American dollar (USD) It costs PLN 3.6483 today, which means a decrease in relation to Wednesday. The American currency has been moving in a narrow range since the beginning of the week – first gaining slightly on value, and then doing some growth. Today he is slightly losing against the zloty.

Euro (EUR) It is valued today at PLN 4.2521, i.e. minimally below yesterday’s level of PLN 4.2524. The common currency maintains stability with a slight downward trend.

Frank Swiss (CHF) It costs PLN 4,5307 today, which means an increase compared to Wednesday. The Swiss currency has been clearly strengthened since the beginning of the week, reaching the highest value this week. Tomorrow it will turn out whether he will keep this strong trend.

Pound sterling (GBP) It is valued today at PLN 4.9123, i.e. below Wednesday’s exchange rate PLN 4.9329. The British currency loses a bit, moving away from the psychological limit of PLN 5.

Average exchange rates are provided by the NBP according to the following rules:

• Table A foreign currency courses are published every business day, between 11:45 and 12:15,

• Table B of Medium Currency Courses is updated every Wednesday, between 11:45 and 12:15. If Wednesday is a day off from work, the update takes place the previous day,

• Table C Courses for the purchase and sale of foreign currencies and the Course table are updated every business day, between 7:45 and 8:15.
