The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published the results of the analysis of the register of contracts for specific work for the first half of 2026.
It turns out that between January and June this year, ZUS received 519.6 thousand. The following picture emerges from ZUS data: contracts concluded for a short period dominate. Over 61 percent lasted no longer than 9 days, and most often these were one-day contracts (they accounted for 27.88%).
The plant also reports that more than half of the contractors worked in one of three sectors: information and communication (22.7%), professional, scientific and technical activities (17.7%) or activities related to culture, entertainment and recreation (14.8%).

The register of contracts for specific work has been operating at ZUS for five years. They are most often used by small companies, especially in the creative and technological industries, and their implementation is short-term.
