Companies with French capital. "This is a very important partner for the Polish economy"

Companies with French capital have been present on the Polish market for 30 years. – They are the second largest investor in Poland, they have a Polish tax identification number, they pay taxes, they reinvest 50% of their revenues and I think that if we talked to these companies today, they would feel like Polish companies – said Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna, General Director of the Polish-French Chamber of Commerce, in an interview for Wprost.pl.

Companies with French capital, which have been present on the Polish market for 30 years, have a big impact on the country’s economy. In terms of investments, they are in second place among all companies. – They have a Polish NIP, pay taxes, reinvest 50% of their revenues and I think that if we talked to these companies today, they would feel like Polish companies – said Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna, General Director of the Polish-French Chamber of Commerce, in an interview for Wprost.pl.

French companies on the Polish market

Poland is an excellent place for French technology companies to locate innovative technology investments.

– Poland is seen by France as a country where innovative products can be tested. We also see that labor costs are getting higher, so simple investments are directed rather to Romania or the Czech Republic, and Poland is becoming a country where complex investments are located, because we have great capital, well-educated staff and international teams – said Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna.

Conquest of the French market

The French market can also be very attractive for Polish businesses. There are 60 million potential consumers with a large wallet. Over the past five years, the turnover of companies that have decided to expand in this direction has increased by 85 percent.

– This is a huge market with a large financial base. It is a mature market, so you need to be well prepared to enter it, perhaps by taking over companies that exist on the French market – said Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna.
