China mocked the US. It’s about the American B-21 superbomber

Does a military aircraft – the B-21 Raider bomber – have design flaws? The expert analyzed the Chinese report. It appears that the United States has not won the arms race with China at all. What’s more, scientists from the Middle Kingdom told the Americans what corrections they should make to make their machine better.

The Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider is a strategic bomber that is virtually impossible to detect on radar as it flies through the air. The US has developed a machine to have better weapons than China.

The B-21 is capable of carrying conventional weapons as well as bombs with a nuclear charge (i.e. a charge of mass destruction).

And although the bomber was advertised as perfect, in reality it is not at all. Defense expert Harrison Kass analyzed the report issued by scientists from the China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center. They claim to have found design flaws in the wing.

The Chinese suggested to the Americans what corrections they should make

Before we get to the point, it is worth recalling that Washington is not the only one that has its own superbomber, as Beijing is currently working on its own machine – the Xi’an H-20 plane. It is expected to have the same features as the Raider.

The Chinese analyzed the capabilities of the American machine using PADJ-X simulation software. They created the B-21 bomber model based on publicly available design information.

According to experts from the Middle Kingdom, the aerodynamic properties of the bomber are far from ideal. Scientists examined “airflow around the bomber’s flying wing configuration,” “stability in various phases of flight,” “aerodynamic efficiency” and “potential design or performance compromises,” poortal 19FortyFive listed. The experts concluded that minor changes to the aircraft’s design would be enough to “theoretically improve its performance.”

Their conclusions, however, should be put in brackets because – as we mentioned earlier – the Chinese relied on publicly available information and photographs and developed the B-21 model on their own, so they could have entered incorrect data into the software at any stage. They also did not interact directly with the American machine.
