Changes at gas stations from October 13. This is what drivers will pay

Stacja paliw

The past week was peaceful at gas stations and everything indicates that this peace will continue in mid-October. Only local corrections are possible.

The beginning of October on global fuel markets is filled with anticipation. After earlier fluctuations in oil prices, investors are observing signs of slowing demand and falling prices of the commodity, as the risk premium on the market decreased after Israel and Hamas agreed to the first stage of a plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. The international situation also translates into prices in Poland, changes in refineries were minor, and there is stabilization at gas stations – write e-petrol.pl experts Gabriela Kozan and Grzegorz Maziak.

Over the past week, wholesale fuel prices have fluctuated, but on Friday they differed only slightly from last week. 95 petrol became cheaper symbolically by 0.05%. (-2.20 PLN/1000 l) and currently costs PLN 4,526.80 net, while the wholesale price of diesel oil is PLN 4,631.60, after a decrease of 0.19%. (-PLN 9/1000 l). However, minor changes concerned 98-octane petrol, the price of which increased by PLN 7 per 1,000 liters to PLN 4,965, and heating oil, which today costs PLN 3,321.80 in refineries, which means an increase of PLN 11/cubic m. compared to the end of the previous week.

How much will drivers pay next week?

The past week passed quietly at gas stations. In the middle of the week, the average price of a liter of diesel oil was PLN 5.99, which means that it remained below the barrier of PLN 6 for the second week in a row. The popular “95” dropped by 3 groszy to PLN 5.85/l. In turn, autogas, after a penny correction, costs PLN 2.61/l.

What awaits drivers in the coming week? E-petrol.pl analysts indicate that moderate changes on the oil market and minor fluctuations in wholesale favor stabilization. Only local adjustments are possible, resulting from the individual pricing policy of the station network. Experts forecast that in the coming week the prices of unleaded 95 gasoline should most often be in the range of PLN 5.76-5.87/l. In the case of diesel, prices should range between PLN 5.89-6.01/l. As for autogas, the coming days should bring further stabilization with the option of a minimal increase of 1-2 groszy and most often prices will range from PLN 2.59 to 2.66/l.
