Last Saturday, March 1 in Warsaw, the 32nd edition of the Great Gala of Polish Business Leaders took place. The event gathered over 800 people, among whom entrepreneurs, government representatives, diplomats and opinion leaders.

During this most important economic event, organized by the Business Center Club, the organization awarded companies with a special contribution to the development of the Polish economy.

Business leaders awarded for the 32nd time

The golden statuettes of the Polish business leader were presented for the 32nd time. The great gala of Polish business leaders is a prestigious distinction awarded to enterprises and managers for exceptional economic achievements, ethical business conduct and activities in the field of social responsibility. Among the winners, there were leaders who consistently build brands and care about the development of enterprises on the domestic and international market.

Professor Ewa Łętowska and Jerzy Owsiak with BCC special prizes

The winners of this year’s Special BCC Award were prof. Ewa Łętowska and Jerzy Owsiak.

Laudations for special awards were given by: Jerzy StępieńSenator I and II term, deputy minister of internal affairs and administration in 1997–1999, in 1999–2008 judge of the Constitutional Tribunal, in the years 2006–2008 the president of the TK and sister Małgorzata ChmielewskaPresident of the “Houses of the Bread of Life Community” Foundation.

Prof. dr hab. Ewa Łętowska She is an outstanding lawyer, a specialist in the field of civil, constitutional, administrative and human rights, a professor of legal sciences, a professor at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Ombudsman (1988–1992), being the first person holding this office in Poland, was a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court and the Constitutional Tribunal

– All my professional life was striving for the law to not be a dummy, a mocking, leaky shield, a baseball club. To be a legible signpost, that it would be enforced, not just declared on paper. BCC also received a special award Jerzy Owsiak, co -founder and president of the Wielka Orchestra Foundation Foundation. The justification emphasized his many years of involvement in charity, social and educational activities, helping the needy and an invaluable contribution to the development of the health care system in Poland. BCC also appreciated its undeniable contribution to building an empathic and solidary society.

BCC awards special prizes of the Polish Business Leader Competition to outstanding personalities outside the environment of entrepreneurs, which significantly contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and market economy in Poland. The great gala of Polish business leaders 2025 was graced by artistic performances. The unofficial part was an opportunity to exchange experiences between Polish entrepreneurship leaders, as well as establishing new business contacts.

History of the Polish Business Leader Competition

The competition was created in 1991 on the initiative of the founder and then president of Business Center Club – Marek Goliszewski. This year, BCC will grant its awards for the 32nd time. Member companies participate in the competition, regardless of the profile of activity, type and ownership structures.
