Karol Nawrocki met with the head of the organization, Dana White, on the occasion of the UFC Freedom 250 gala. Jan Błachowicz revealed that this may result in “benefit of all Poles fighting” for the American MMA giant.
“‘Boss, meet the president of Poland’. I never thought I would say this sentence. And then there was a long conversation… You simply don’t forget meetings like this and events like UFC Freedom 250. Honestly, I’m as excited as I was when I was a teenager. Thank you for this great distinction and invitation,” wrote Jan Błachowicz on social media. The former light heavyweight champion included a photo of himself with Karol Nawrocki and Dana White.
“In my wildest dreams, I never thought that I would be part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of US independence. The UFC gala in the White House is an unprecedented event. I am glad that I can still write the history of the organization – first as its champion, today as a spectator and an active competitor. Such invitations are not refused. When I will be 93, I hope they will invite me to the 300th anniversary. I have already marked it in my calendar, just in case,” he wrote Błachowicz before the event.

The MMA fighter revealed the secret about the meeting with Nawrocki and White in an interview with Interia. He noted that it “sounded nice.” When asked about initiating a specific event, Błachowicz said that perhaps it was for the “benefit of all Poles fighting in the UFC.” – However, let’s not jinx it – the former light heavyweight champion briefly summed up the thread. Błachowicz returned to the country alone because the president had additional activities planned in the US.
Nawrocki met, among others, with representatives of the Polish community at the Polish Center. John Paul II in Clearwater, Florida. During the event, the head of state presented state decorations to distinguished Polish activists. – As president, I wanted to thank you for Poland’s special presence in Florida. This is thanks to you – and to the honorees and everyone who is in this Hall – said Nawrocki.
