Bogucki harshly about police activities. “Attempt to intimidate TV Republika”
The head of KPRP, Zbigniew Bogucki, in Kanał Zero sharply commented on the actions of the services towards the employees of TV Republika. The case is related to alleged “harassment” by telephone.
Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Chancellery of the President, was Robert Mazurek’s guest in the “Morning talks zero” program on Channel Zero. One of the main topics of the conversation were police interventions against people associated with TV Republika.
Bogucki said that the services’ actions were a “complete scandal.” As he said, information about alleged threats needs to be checked, but the way the police operate raises serious doubts.
– The reliability of this information was negligible, very low – he said. He added that if similar interventions concern journalists of one station critical of the government (TV Republika – ed.), it is difficult to call it a coincidence.
Bogucki: it was an attempt to intimidate TV Republika employees and viewers
Bogucki reacted most harshly to the handcuffing of the assistant to the president of TV Republika, Tomasz Sakiewicz. He said it was “completely incomprehensible” and “unacceptable.”
– This is an attempt at intimidation, an attempt to subliminally introduce fear among the editors and viewers of this station – said Bogucki.
When asked if he believed in a coincidence, he replied that “you would have to be naive, bordering on stupidity” to consider a series of such events a mere coincidence. At the same time, he stressed that there was no evidence who could be behind it. In his opinion, however, one should ask “who is it for?”
Bogucki attacks Kierwiński and Tusk
The head of the president’s office also commented on Minister Marcin Kierwiński’s assurances that there was no intentional action by the services. According to Bogucki, there are only two possibilities: either the minister “does not control what is happening in the ministry” or “he does not tell the truth.”
The conversation also touched on Donald Tusk’s statement about President Karol Nawrocki. The Prime Minister accused him of “slinging mud on his own country” abroad. Bogucki replied that “no one harms Poland as much as Donald Tusk.”
– The Prime Minister is not Poland, Mr. Prime Minister – he said.
US soldiers in Poland. Bogucki: the president is acting
Bogucki argued that Karol Nawrocki’s actions are aimed at maintaining the presence of US troops in Poland. As he said, there is currently no information from Washington that the contingent will be reduced.
The head of the president’s office accused those in power of “doing nothing positive” in this matter, but only obstructing. Referring to Tusk’s words that Poland should not “take” soldiers from Germany, Bogucki said that the relationship with Berlin is more important to the Prime Minister than Polish interests.
Ziobro’s escape. “He can’t count on a fair trial”
Finally, Mazurek asked about Zbigniew Ziobro. Bogucki stated that the former Minister of Justice “cannot count on a fair trial.” He also added that Ziobro “is really fighting for his own life.”
Speaking about himself, Bogucki assured that he would stay in Poland regardless of the actions of the prosecutor’s office.
– They can pursue me, they can interrogate me, they can bring charges against me, they can even lock me up, I will be in Poland – he said.
