Bixby Lite in Polish on Samsung TVs from 2024

Bixby Lite is an intelligent voice assistant, developed in cooperation with Samsung R&D Institute Poland, which was designed to make it easier for users to control Samsung Smart TVs. It offers functions such as voice search and application and settings management, which significantly simplifies everyday use of the TV.

The main functionalities of Bixby Lite concern the basic operation of the device. After updating the TV to the latest software version, the voice control function can be initiated using the remote control and pressing the button marked with a microphone icon. After pressing and holding the “Microphone” button on the remote control, say the desired command. The actions that we can perform using the Polish assistant can be divided into 9 main categories: Channels, Volume, Source, Opening settings / applications, Navigation, Multimedia, Turning off the TV, Searching YouTube / Internet, Weather.

Using the assistant, we can turn the TV on or off. For example, we can use commands such as “Switch to TV”, “Channel five”, “Channel up”, “Previous channel”. In the case of voice, we can use commands such as: “Volume 15”, “Increase”, “Mute”, “Restore voice”. Bixby Lite will also help launch some applications, including Netflix, Max, player and others installed on the TV and will speed up the search for content on YouTube.

Work has also begun on a software update for 2023 TVs, which will also feature this functionality.
